This session will be presented by the Preschool Assessment and Consultation Team, Karen Longridge, MSW, RSW & Kathy Berry, HBSW, RSW.

Participants can expect to learn about what trauma is and how it affects the development of young children. Participants will learn to recognize trauma in the children they work with and gain an understanding of a trauma-informed approach. They will also learn about specific strategies to use in their child care programs.
