Planting heirloom vegetables, identifying pollinators, and munching on handfuls of snap peas along the way: the world of gardening can open pathways to learning, connection, and discovery for children and people of all ages.

The TBDSSAB is thrilled to have Julia Prinselaar from EcoSuperior join us to share her tips and tricks for growing plants and vegetables with young children. In this evening workshop, educators will learn the basics of vegetable gardening, popular plants to grow with children, and fun activities to suit different landscapes and garden scenarios. The workshop includes a hands-on activity and a takeaway gardening kit to use with children in the workplace.
