We are excited to welcome Emily Kerton – Senior Scientist, Outreach and Indigenous Initiatives from Science North Thunder Bay to present an informative and interactive session for Preschool and School Age educators.

Learning in the outdoors has significant educational advantages for children in all ages and stages of life. It connects them to the natural world that surrounds them, constructs deep environmental knowledge and understanding.

This 2 hour workshop will inspire educators to integrate outdoor education techniques into their everyday programs. We will leave the educators with a toolkit of lesson plans and supplies they can use and techniques they can start implementing right away.
