A Pedagogical Study on Inuit Approaches to Anger

March 4, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

You are invited to join Jodi for a short pedagogical study involving Michaeleen Doucleff’s article, How Inuit Parents Teach Kids To Control Their Anger. The contents of this article will be the inspiration for a pedagogical conversation about approaches to anger, guidance, and so much more.

This gathering will take place from 2:00 – 3:00pm. Please read the article prior to the meeting by following the link below:

For more than 30 years, the Inuit welcomed anthropologist Jean Briggs into their lives so she could study how they raise their children. Briggs is pictured during a 1974 visit to Baffin Island.

Note that this gathering is now full. If you are interested in this opportunity, please send us an e-mail. If there is an interest then we will schedule a second gathering.

To register, please e-mail Jodi at jodi.corbett@tbdssab.ca or early.years@tbdssab.ca
